Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team on-site in Illinois. The role involves administering general anesthesia or monitored sedation, airway management, IV placement, and pre-/post-anesthesia care, with ongoing evaluation of labs and patient status.

Applicants must hold an Illinois RN and APRN license, be CRNA-certified or eligible, and maintain BLS, ACLS, and NRP prerequisites.

Qualifications

Completed AANA approved course in Anesthesia.
Masters degree required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in Illinois.
CRNA or eligible for certification.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
NRP certification before orientation.

Responsibilities

Administer and monitor general anesthesia or monitored sedation.
Proficient in airway management including mechanical ventilation.
Placement of peripheral intravenous catheters.
Pre-anesthesia evaluation.
Post anesthesia care/discharge.
Evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
Proficient in pain management.
Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development from neonate to geriatrics.
Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development over the life span, neonate through geriatrics.
