Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide comprehensive anesthesia services in collaboration with the surgical team at our Illinois facility. The role includes pre-, intra-, and post-anesthesia care, patient assessment, and safe emergence from anesthesia.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN and APRN license with NBCRNA certification, DEA registration, and a Master’s in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN licenses in state(s) of practice.
• NBCRNA certification as CRNA.
• DEA registration.
• Illinois Controlled Substance license prior to hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by site/practice.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides pre-anesthesia, anesthesia and post-anesthesia care.
• Ensures readiness of equipment, supplies and medications.
• Delivers anesthesia care including induction, maintenance and emergence.
• Performs post-anesthesia duties and manages pain relief.
• Handling emergencies with airway management and ACLS/advanced life support.
