Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide full spectrum anesthesia services at the Pleasant Prairie Surgical Center in Wisconsin. The role involves pre-, intra-, and post-anesthesia care with a focus on safety and collaboration with the surgical team.

Eligible candidates hold a Master’s in Nursing, NBCRNA certification, RN/APRN license, and a DEA registration. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4 ten-hour shifts, no call on weekends or holidays at this time.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• CRNA board certification NBCRNA is required.
• Active DEA registration is required.
• RN/APRN license in practice states is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia and related perioperative care as per plan.
• Manages conditions based on indication, risks, and alternatives.
• Participates in preoperative evaluation and consent processes.
• Ensures readiness of equipment, supplies, and medications for anesthesia.
• Delivers anesthesia including induction, maintenance, and emergence.
• Performs post-anesthesia care and safe patient transfer.
• Participates in quality, safety, and education activities.
• Maintains documentation in the EMR and supports billing.
