Job summary

Scottish Rite for Children in Frisco is seeking a CRNA to administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia for scheduled pediatric orthopedic procedures at the ambulatory center. You will evaluate patients preoperatively and, with the attending anesthesiologist, carry out an comprehensive anesthesia care plan and safely transport patients through the perioperative period.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Two+ years of experience required.
• Current CRNA license NBCRNA certification preferred.
• Independent practice and collaboration with attending anesthesiologists expected.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia for pediatric orthopedic procedures.
• Preoperative evaluation and anesthesia care plan with attending anesthesiologist.

Job Posting Title: CRNA Location: Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center Additional Posting Details: Monday through Friday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm

Job Description:

• Administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia and analgesia care for scheduled (non-emergent) pediatric orthopedic procedures and imaging at the discretion of and under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.
• Evaluate patients preoperatively and, in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist, formulate and carry out a full anesthesia care plan.
• Safely transport patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensure appropriate care during the postoperative period.
• Be an effective team member and interact with staff and patients in a way that shows respect and consideration for the individual and those around you.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Comfortable practicing independently as well as a shared resource for attending anesthesiologists
• Regional anesthesia experience preferred but not necessary
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NBCRNA certification
• Current CRNA License
