Job summary

9Rooftops Marketing Agency, LLC is seeking a CRM Manager to lead CRM strategy, architecture, and email marketing across a portfolio of national and regional clients. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic ownership — guiding technical resources and serving as a trusted subject matter expert in front of senior client stakeholders.

This hybrid role operates from our Chicago, IL or Pittsburgh, PA offices. The base salary is $70,000, with up to 25% bonus for additional qualifications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in CRM, email marketing, or marketing automation.
• Salesforce or Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required.
• Agency experience required.
• Proven CRM architecture and strategy examples.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns.
• Experience managing CRM databases, forms, workflows, and lead generation processes.
• Experience guiding technical resources on CRM build-out.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple CRM platforms quickly.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent client-facing communication at executive level.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Self-starter with quick ramp-up time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day CRM contact for assigned client accounts.
• Translate business needs into actionable CRM and email marketing initiatives.
• Manage incoming CRM, email marketing, and marketing automation requests.
• Build and maintain client relationships through proactive communication and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across internal teams.
• Own CRM database architecture and data model decisions.
• Guide technical resources on CRM structure and feasibility.
• Identify tools or approaches to evolve CRM compliance and capabilities.
• Grow CRM as a discipline within the agency.
• Develop, build, schedule, test, and deploy email campaigns.
• Manage email content calendars and campaign timelines.
• Ensure campaigns align with brand standards and CTAs.
• Coordinate reviews, approvals, and QA processes.
• Lead segmentation, personalization, and audience targeting.
• Manage CRM platforms, including database administration and lead management.
• Build forms, workflows, and lead capture processes.
• Ensure data integrity through maintenance and governance.
• Support user training and CRM adoption.
• Troubleshoot campaign and platform issues with internal teams and vendors.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement and lead generation.
• Recommend process improvements to CRM operations.
• Preferred: Splash and other CRM platforms.
