Job summary

Medtronic plc seeks a Clinical Specialist for Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) in the Nashville area. You will provide technical support for CRM devices, educate clinicians, and collaborate with sales to meet objectives. The role requires extensive travel (≈80%), with weekend/after-hours coverage as needed and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare, field sales, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in healthcare or math/science-related work.
• Associate's degree plus 4+ years in healthcare or field sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for CRM devices and therapies, perform system checks/interrogations, support implants, troubleshoot issues, and apply CRM field training.
• Coordinate operational support by ensuring patient documentation, managing inventory/resources, maintaining software, and assisting with coverage logistics.
• Educate physicians, hospital staff, and field team members on CRM products and solutions, and onboard new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and value of CRM products.
• Travel extensively within the Nashville territory (approx. 80%), support clinics, and handle weekend/after-hours coverage as needed.
• Perform physical job requirements including lifting up to 40 lbs., long hours, and safe patient handling.
• Work in clinical environments with exposure to eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation, using lead protection as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
