Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist to support Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) in the Portland territory. You will provide technical and educational support to clinicians, coordinate field operations, and help grow CRM solutions in a high-demand healthcare environment.

The role requires travel up to 80% within the territory, weekend or after-hours coverage as needed, and a strong foundation in healthcare or sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of healthcare, field sales, or related quantitative/technical experience with math, science, or computing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for CRM devices and therapies by performing system checks/interrogations, supporting implants, troubleshooting issues, and applying knowledge gained through comprehensive CRM field training.
• Coordinate operational support by ensuring accurate patient documentation, managing inventory and equipment resources, maintaining programmer software, and assisting with daily coverage logistics to meet customer and business needs.
• Educate physicians, hospital staff, office personnel, and field team members on CRM products, therapies, and solutions, while supporting the onboarding and development of new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and field partners to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and the value of Medtronic CRM products and solutions.
• Identify customer opportunities, support purchase order activities, monitor competitive trends, and provide actionable feedback to help achieve sales objectives.
• Maintain technical expertise by staying current on new CRM products, therapies, solutions, and patient management offerings to effectively support customers and clinical outcomes.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customer clinics, hospitals, and business meetings, with frequent independent driving – approximate 80% of the time.
• Perform physical job requirements, including frequent two-handed lifting of up to 40 lbs., sitting, standing, and walking for 8+ hours per day, and regularly bending, stooping, squatting, and maintaining balance.
