Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for retail banking and payments. The role bridges business needs and technical solutions to deliver Dynamics 365 projects, including Finance, Customer Engagement, and Payments modules.

You will gather requirements, refine Azure DevOps backlogs, design functional specs, map processes, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in retail banking or payments domain.
• 3+ years with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement).
• Strong understanding of payment systems, card processing, and banking operations.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, API integrations, data migration, and SQL.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with expertise in retail banking and payment systems and hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications. This hybrid role bridges business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of banking and payment‑related projects leveraging Dynamics 365.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements for retail banking and payment processes.
• Azure DevOps Backlog Refinement: Maintain and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritize backlog items for development teams.
• Solution Design Support: Translate business needs into functional specifications for Dynamics 365 modules (Finance, Customer Service, Payments).
• Process Mapping & Optimization: Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices.
• Integration & Data Management: Support integration of Dynamics 365 with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third‑party applications.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test cases, coordinate UAT, and ensure solutions meet functional and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & Training: Prepare user guides, process documentation, and deliver training sessions for end‑users.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to banking regulations, PCI DSS standards, and data privacy requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst in retail banking or payments domain.
• Experience: 3+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement).
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of payment systems, card processing, and banking operations.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, API integrations, data migration, and SQL.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile methodology and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT, and ACH payment standards.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $43.69/hour - $68.26/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
