Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer II for the Swing shift (3:00pm-11:00pm Tue-Sat) to operate, monitor, and maintain mission-critical electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems across our NY2 Finance facility. You will coordinate with technicians, vendors, and customers to ensure uptime and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documentation, and remote support, with a focus on safety and adherence to established procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• 2–5 years data center electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork orientation essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot critical data center systems to ensure uptime.
• Perform inspections, respond to abnormal conditions, document findings.
• Track and analyze performance using CMMS and logs.
• Provide remote hands and incident management for customers.
• Mentor and guide junior staff and support continuous improvement.
