Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer II to join the Data Center Operations team in a role focused on operating, maintaining, and diagnosing critical electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems to ensure maximum uptime. You will support customer infrastructure projects and collaborate with technicians, vendors, and customers to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Advanced understanding of interaction between electrical, mechanical, UPS, generator, and BAS/BMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems to ensure uptime.
• Perform facility inspections, respond to abnormal conditions, and document findings.
• Track, trend, and analyze system performance; manage work orders and maintenance using CMMS.
• Support customer infrastructure projects including cage builds, rack and stack, and overhead installs.
• Lead administrative activities across CMMS, ticketing, monitoring, and documentation; provide updates and coordinate with teams.
