Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer I to join the Data Center Operations team on the night shift (Mon-Fri, 11:00pm-7:30am). You will operate and monitor mission-critical electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems to ensure uptime, respond to alarms, and support customer infrastructure projects.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and safety commitment in a high-availability environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with large commercial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong safety awareness and operational discipline.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Perform inspections, respond to alarms, document findings.
• Track performance, manage work orders in CMMS, support customer projects.
• Collaborate with technicians, contractors, and vendors on upgrades.
• Provide remote hands support and timely updates to stakeholders.
