Job summary

CBEM LLC is seeking a Critical Intervention Specialist in Chico, CA. The role involves in-person crisis support and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to develop stabilization plans and address both acute and long-term needs.

The incumbent will work under the Program Director, hold a Master’s degree in relevant fields, and must have at least one year of experience with challenging behaviors. This full-time, exempt position requires a CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Master’s Degree in MFT, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or ABA.
  • One year of experience working with persons with challenging behaviors is required.
  • Must have a California driver’s license in good standing and insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
  • Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
  • Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
  • Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
  • Participate in clinical trainings.
  • Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.

Position : Critical Intervention Specialist

Location : Chico, CA (and surrounding counties: Tehama, Glenn, or Butte counties), In-Person/Onsite Required

Reports to : Program Director

Employment Status : Full-time, Exempt

Required Education: Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT), Social Work (MSW), Counseling (Clinical, School, or Guidance), Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
One year of experience working with persons with challenging behaviors is required.

Salary : $72,510.98 + opportunities for quarterly bonuses

Who You Are:

  • Must hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT), Social Work (MSW), Counseling (Clinical, School, or Guidance), Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Experience in the mental health or applied behavior analysis field required.
  • Experience supporting individuals with severe mental illness and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
