Clearance Requirement: Applicants must undergo a government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. An active Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance is required.

Passport Requirement: Continued employment depends on meeting security requirements, including providing a valid passport for site access.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment in the data center operates at peak efficiency through preventive maintenance, corrective work, and emergency response.
• Serve as an expert technical resource, reporting to a program manager, and interact with onsite engineering and third-party vendors.
• Maintain data center equipment with uptime better than 99.999%.
• Meet CET1 requirements; OEM factory training or experience preferred; strong communication skills required.
• Apply safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, SDS, and good housekeeping; utilize administrative software.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, construction documents, and OEM instructions.
• Use hand tools and test equipment for troubleshooting and repairs, logging activities in CMMS.
• Assist higher-level technicians and transfer knowledge as needed.
• Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to monitor parameters and identify discrepancies.
• Understand site-specific procedures, emergency operation plans, and how to execute drills.
• Operate and isolate systems such as MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC units, fire alarm systems, BMS, and EPMS.
• Maintain records as per regulations; interpret building codes and regulations.
• Identify materials and parts needed for maintenance and repair.
• Utilize test equipment, including infrared and vibration analyzers, for diagnostics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot heating and refrigeration systems.
• Understand power density, HVAC capacities, and load calculations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must hold an active Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance.

Desired Qualifications: Journeyman Electrician or HVAC license or equivalent.
