Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain a valid VA DCJS Guard License and maintain active status at all times.
• Background investigation, post-offer pre-employment drug/alcohol test, and possible Driver's Record check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Maintains proficiency with all assigned protective equipment and weapons.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
• Preserve order and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors and premises.
• Monitors CCTV systems and alarms; reports safety concerns and breaches in writing.
• Build, improve, and maintain relationships with client employees and guests.
