Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Critical Facility Security Officer to safeguard client facilities and deter threats. You will patrol, monitor CCTV, enforce site regulations, and report safety concerns. The position requires 21+ years old, licensing as required by state, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Training is provided for those without a license, and you may be assigned to multiple sites. Strong communication and professional demeanor are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Guard License as required in the state of employment; training provided for hires without a card/license.
• Background investigation and post-offer drug/alcohol test required; may include Driver’s Record check.
• Ability to take initiative, manage multiple assignments, and work under pressure with professional judgment.
• Proficiency in communicating clearly with clients and the public; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Operate and maintain protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons as qualified.
• Report safety concerns and security breaches in writing and verbally.
• Enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises; preserve order.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms; document issues accurately.
• Follow site post orders and performance manuals; stay compliant with licensing requirements.
• Build relationships with client employees and guests; greet and assist visitors professionally.
• Patrol facilities on foot or vehicle; cover multiple clients or locations as needed.
