Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Cleared Security Professional in Reston, VA to protect personnel, property, and information. This full-time role requires a DCJS license (VA only) and pays $25 per hour. The position includes specialized training and growth opportunities in the security field.

Responsibilities include patrolling the facility, greeting visitors, enforcing rules, securing access, and reporting incidents. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen to obtain the required government clearance.
• Licensing and regulatory requirements vary by state and locality.
• Minimum of two years of security experience or related military/security service.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license if operating a company or customer vehicle.
• Must complete First Aid, CPR, and AED within 90 days of assignment.
• DCJS license is required for VA postings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Greeting guests and employees, escorting visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Follow-site specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication; interacting with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary
