Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is hiring a facilities operations professional to oversee day-to-day mechanical plant uptime at our Saline, Michigan site. You will lead maintenance, preventive work, and service requests on chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAHs, AHUs, CDUs, and related controls, ensuring safety and adherence to Oracle standards.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in mechanical plant operations or uptime-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare, industrial plants, semiconductor, or large commercial facilities.
• 1–3+ years of experience leading technicians, maintenance teams, or service providers in a live operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, CRAHs, AHUs, CDUs, and related controls platforms.
• Experience managing vendors, maintenance programs, incident response, and service execution in 24x7 operations.
• Familiarity with BMS, SCADA, DCIM, and CMMS tools.
• Experience supporting commissioning, turnover, or operational acceptance of new or upgraded mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, maintenance, and service execution for critical mechanical and HVAC infrastructure.
• Own mechanical plant readiness, including preventive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, restoration activities, and backlog management.
• Serve as primary site point of contact and technical lead for mechanical systems, including escalation and operational decisions.
• Manage Facilities Technicians, contractors, and service vendors, ensuring safety, quality, documentation, and SLA adherence.
• Drive troubleshooting and response for mechanical failures and performance degradation.
• Track and improve KPIs such as equipment availability, backlog health, MTTR, and corrective action closure.
• Partner with engineering, commissioning, deployment, reliability, and controls teams on retrofits and turnovers.
• Lead or support root cause analysis for major issues and ensure actions are completed and sustained.
