Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Manager to lead the operational oversight of a mission-critical R&D lab portfolio in Goleta, CA. The role focuses on reliability, uptime, safety, and vendor performance across MEP and life-safety systems.

You will manage procedures, change control, and incident investigations, ensuring 24/7 lab readiness while coordinating with contractors and internal teams. A strong focus on compliance and budgeting supports ongoing lab operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical facilities operations and management in lab, cleanroom, pharma or semiconductor environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong vendor management, change control processes, and risk mitigation in critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance by vendors on critical lab systems.
• Review and approve Method of Procedures for work on critical systems.
• Manage change control for all planned maintenance and ensure safe operations.
