Job summary

Newmark in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician focused on Mechanical/HVAC. The role requires hands-on maintenance of AHUs, RTUs, chillers, pumps, and monitoring systems; you will work with Building Automation Systems (BMS) to verify parameters, adjust settings, and manage alarms.

Qualifications

• HVAC systems knowledge including AHUs, RTUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAHs, chillers.
• Experience with building automation and controls.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical diagrams and sequences of operation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical facility systems and perform tests to ensure reliability.
• Operate site BMS, adjust setpoints, manage alarms.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per PM schedules.
• Lead incident response and RCA for outages.
• Maintain documentation: SOPs, MOPs, EOPs.
