Job summary
ACS System Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our NYC-area team. You will apply installation and troubleshooting skills across commercial HVAC systems, with a focus on building automation, controls, and DDC integration.
The role requires EPA 608, OSHA 40-hour SST, a valid driver’s license, and high school/technical training; Daikin and Mitsubishi experience is a plus. You will work on systems including rooftops, chillers, and water-source heat pumps.
Qualifications
- EPA Universal certification-608 is required.
- OSHA 40-hour SST certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- NATE certification is a plus.
- Technical school training is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform refrigeration equipment tests, vacuum, and charging.
- Start up and troubleshoot VFDs and starters.
- Work with commercial HVAC systems including rooftops, water source heat pumps, and chillers.
- Assist with BMS integration and related hardware/software.
- Maintain safety and quality standards on all projects.
