Job description

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field required
• A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field preferred
• High School diploma or GED, technical training, or equivalent work experience
• Desired: Certified Mission Critical Operator (CMCO) Certification
• Technical knowledge of mission critical systems including HVAC, emergency power, UPS, and data center infrastructure
• Understanding of critical environment management programs and protocols aimed at 100% uptime
• Familiarity with DCIM or BAS platforms
• Strong understanding of mission critical system operations, maintenance, and engineering principles
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot building and infrastructure alarms and issues
• On-call support availability 24/7
• Ability to interpret design and construction documents related to critical systems
• Proficient in MS Office and email applications

Work Environment:

• Follow instructions to protect critical load and ensure infrastructure availability
• Maintain professionalism and composure during emergencies
• Possess analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions
• Work in non-traditional hours and possibly travel as needed
