Overview

CyrusOne is a global enterprise data center collocation provider. The role reports to a Senior Facility Manager and is part of the Operations & Maintenance organization, delivering various O&M services in a 24/7/365 data‑center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively complete assigned tasks to support the operations of the data center and any non‑data‑center space(s) assigned.
• Understand and apply building operations rules and guidelines.
• Perform janitorial tasks, inventory management, and internal departmental tasks as required.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and project work.
• Report potential problem areas to management.
• Receive on‑the‑job training and other specialized training as needed.
• Evaluate equipment and provide recommendations for contractor scope of work.
• Ensure workmanship standards are met and comply with company, government, and client policies.
• Follow EHS requirements and procedures.

Performance Expectations

• Safety: proactively work to improve safety.
• Communication skills: verbal, written, and comprehension.
• Project leadership: organize, prioritize, and expedite projects from conception to closure.
• Problem identification / resolution: diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic equipment.

Work Environment

Fast‑paced environment with some stress; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds and work after hours.
