BluePearl Pet Hospital in Northeast Portland (Hollywood) is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to work in our Critical Care department.

You will join a fast-paced, collaborative team providing advanced medicine and critical care to hospitalized pets. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experienced Veterinary Technician in ICU/critical care.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients.
• Mentor and train other co-workers.
• Help reunite patients with their owners.

As An ICU/Critical Care Technician, You Will

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
