Job summary

Wilson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Department in Sidney, Ohio. This full-time role covers 7-bed ICU care with shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and reports to the Acute Care Nurse Manager.

The RN will assess and treat critically ill adults and geriatrics, collaborate with the care team, educate patients and families, and uphold high nursing standards while pursuing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred; required within 5 years if not already obtained).
• 1–2 years of medical-surgical or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, intervene, evaluate, and teach.
• Care for critically ill patients across adult and geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Support and educate patients and families about disease processes and self-care.
• Maintain professional competency and uphold high standards of nursing practice.

Department Description: Wilson Health's Critical Care Unit is a 7-bed Intensive Care Unit that cares for patients with severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Patients require constant monitoring and support from specialized equipment and medications to maintain normal bodily functions.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse provides patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, teaching, and supervision. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team, patients, families, and significant others. They are accountable for their own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law and ethics. What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day:
