Job summary

UF Health Gainesville is seeking a part-time Critical Care Technician to assist with or independently provide direct patient care under supervision of the Manager/Registered Nurse, delivering care with compassion, respect and dignity.

Qualifications include EMT or Paramedic, CNA/PCA with 1 year of patient care experience, nursing students who have completed the didactic and clinical portions of a nursing program, or current employees awaiting NCLEX testing (up to 90 days) or who have not passed

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT or Paramedic; OR CNA/PCA with 1 year of patient care experience; OR nursing students in an approved program with completion of didactic and clinical portions; OR current employees awaiting NCLEX (up to 90 days).
• Current employees who have completed a nursing or LPN program and are awaiting NCLEX authorization to test (up to 90 days post-graduation) or have not passed NCLEX after initial authorization (up to 6 months).
