Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a part-time Clerk PCA to assist the Registered Nurse with routine tasks in a patient care unit. You will handle clerical duties, greet and assist customers, transcribe, monitor medical records, and communicate information efficiently.

Qualified candidates include CNAs (or EMTs/Paramedics) and nursing students enrolled in approved programs with readiness to complete required training and certifications. Flex hours and weekend rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required for those not enrolled in a nursing program.
• Current CNA certification or EMT/Paramedic license preferred.
• Nursing student in an approved program may be considered.
• Ability to complete clerical and unit competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with routine procedures under supervision.
• Provide clerical support as receptionist and records monitor.
• Transcribe and relay information, manage patient care communications.
