Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. This full-time role features 72 Bi-Weekly Hours and rotating shift patterns (7a-7p / 7p-7a) with weekends/holidays on rotation.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and managing high-acuity patients with ventilator/Trach support. Strong critical thinking, delegation, and time management are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current OH RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire or current.
• BSN preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Provide central line care and sedation/airway support as indicated.
• Manage care for patients requiring BiPAP, high flow oxygen, or Vent/trach support.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
