Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd in Oklahoma City is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for ICU coverage. The role includes weekends, days, and a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week, providing comprehensive care to adult/geriatric patients in the ICU.

Qualified applicants will be graduates of an accredited nursing program with an Oklahoma RN license and current BLS/ACLS certification. NIHSS may be required for new unit staff, with training completed within three months of employment.

Qualifications

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN License
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS certified. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care
• Other: Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/ Education Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Critical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU.
• The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.
