Boston Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Neuro Science Intensive Care Unit in Boston. This role supports a patient-centered care model within a 28-bed SNICU caring for trauma, neurology, and complex postoperative patients.

The position offers a night shift with rotating weekends and requires Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS in certain units, plus a nursing degree with ongoing BSN progression where applicable.

Formación

• Massachusetts RN license or eligibility required.
• 1+ years RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN; BSN within 4 years preferred.
• Certifications in specialty areas may be required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education of patients.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization.
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects.
