Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Placid, FL is seeking a skilled RN for a critical care role. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, administer medications, monitor responses, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will document in the EMR and uphold infection control standards.

The position requires an RN license and associate degree; a Bachelor’s is preferred. Sign-on/relocation incentives may be available; full-time daytime shift.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license is required; BLS certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain infection control practices and a safe environment.
• Respond to life-threatening situations per protocol.
