Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a PCU/acute care setting. Primary responsibilities include data collection, patient assessments, and coordinating discharge planning among a collaborative care team.

Requirements include an Associate's of Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred, current RN license, and BLS. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proficient clinical critical care skills and strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and commitment to hourly patient rounding.
• Previous EKG Interpretation Class (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Gather comprehensive data on patient health for unit-level improvements.
• Perform initial patient assessments within expected timeframes and coordinate with team.
• Ensure safe and effective handoffs and maintain documentation per policy.
• Collaborate with care team to manage patient flow and admissions/discharges.
