Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Placid, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Day shift. The RN assesses patient health, conducts initial and ongoing assessments, and coaches patients and families through care planning and discharge processes.

You will collaborate with the health care team to implement individualized care plans, document outcomes, and ensure policy-compliant practice. A valid RN license and 2+ years PRN RN experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• RN license in good standing.
• PRN 2+ years RN experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze the health status of patients in the assigned unit.
• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments per policy and unit standards.
• Plan and implement patient care in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
• Direct care on the unit and coordinate patient care activities to ensure quality delivery.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders; educate patients based on needs.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and Core Measures.
