Job summary

Moberly Regional Medical Center's Critical Care Unit seeks a dedicated RN to provide patient-centered care in a high-acuity, 24-hour monitoring environment. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to protocols and physician orders.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver evidence-based interventions, manage medications, and respond to emergencies, including CPR and life-support procedures.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure in state or compact
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred where applicable

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within the scope of documented competency.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities as appropriate.
• Provides patient and family education on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols and ensures a safe environment.
• Documents patient care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Engages in performance improvement initiatives and data collection to enhance outcomes.
