Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN with cardiac/CCU experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or higher degree and licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care in the medical record; monitor therapeutic response.
• Provide timely, compassionate care and respond to patient requests while anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
