Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for CCU/ medical-surgical critical care with emphasis on cardiac care. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and the care team, following established nursing models and ensuring an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities include admission assessments, medication administration, timely documentation, patient advocacy, and patient-family education to promote positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN with cardiac and/or critical care experience preferred.
• RN Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up.
