Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN with cardiac/critical care experience preferred.
• RN Diploma, Bachelor's or Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and document care in the medical record; respond to adverse drug events as needed.
• Provide exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
