Job summary
AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, Florida, is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment, document assessments, interventions, and outcomes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe patient flow and timely transfers.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of critical care experience, RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and EPIC EMR proficiency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a critical care registered nurse.
- Experience in a specialty area(s).
- Active RN license; BLS; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Proficiency with electronic EMR documentation and EPIC EMR.
Responsibilities
- Communicate courteously with patients, families and staff.
- Respond promptly to clinical deterioration or emergencies.
- Document assessments, interventions and patient outcomes.
- Support bedside nurses during rapid response events and discharge planning.
- Collaborate to ensure safe patient placement and throughput.
- Maintain regulatory standards and unit competencies.
