Job summary

Riverside Health System is seeking an RN for the Critical Care/Telemetry units in Newport News, VA. This PRN night position (7pm-7am) requires an active RN license in Virginia and at least 1 year of experience.

You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. You will educate patients and families, document care thoroughly, and support safe transitions while upholding standards of excellence and compassionate service

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (VDHP)
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• CPR/BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs according to unit standards
• Develop and implement care plans with patients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Document care and education per standards
• Ensure safe patient transitions and continuity of care
