Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Critical Care/Telemetry units. This is a temporary role supporting patient assessment, planning, and implementation of care under supervision of Nurse Manager and Director.

Responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe patient transitions, and adhering to evidence-based standards. Requires RN license and BLS/ACLS within 90 days, with ICU/CCU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current knowledge of clinical practices and related information systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• License to practice as RN in Virginia or compact state upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop care plans.
• Partner with patients and families to implement and evaluate plans of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Facilitate safe patient transitions to next care setting.
• Educate patient and family and evaluate comprehension.
• Complete required clinical and quality documentation per RHS standards.
