Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care critical care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, using age-specific data, the patient’s status in a comprehensive manner.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment including observation, physical examination, labs, and response to interventions.
• Completes required documentation within organizational standards.
• Participates in multidisciplinary care planning to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Coordinates discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
