Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced RN for the MICU/SICU to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment. The role requires applying clinical knowledge, coordinating care, and advocating for patients and families.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing program, RN license, and BLS; BSN is strongly preferred. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible applicants, with terms to be observed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association – Basic Life support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Coordinates patient care and directs assistive personnel.
• Collaborates with health professionals to determine patient needs and plan care.
• Maintains annual mandatory education and unit-based competencies.
• Demonstrates accountability for patient safety and nursing practice.
