Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit in New Castle, Delaware is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our MICU team. This Full-Time Flex (36 hrs/week) position includes night shift with day shift rotations and a supportive, expert team dedicated to patient advocacy.

BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years; minimum 1 year acute care experience; BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months).

Qualifications

• BSN is required for the role.
• ADN may be considered if the candidate commits to obtaining a BSN within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience is required.
• BLS is required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity ICU.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during vulnerable moments.
