Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical ICU in Delaware is hiring a Registered Nurse for the MICU team. This full-time night rotating role (36 hrs/week) offers a mix of night and day shifts with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will provide expert care to critically ill patients, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families during high-stress moments. BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years).
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
