Job summary

Kindred Hospital San Antonio is a LTAC facility providing advanced critical care and telemetry services. This role contributes to comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and execution under ICU policies.

The nurse will supervise care provided by others, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning to support recovery and transition to the next level of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Fluent English communication.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate nursing care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing care standards and hospital policies.
• Assesses patient on admission and plans care.
• Develops and updates the patient care plan.
• Documents admissions and care plans in EMR.
• Administers medications per seven rights.
• Coordinates nursing care with therapy and procedures.
• Responds to emergencies and ensures patient safety.
