Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking an experienced RN II for our in-office Critical Care float pool. This role requires current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or enrollment, with ICU or Step-Down/Progressive Care, ER, or High Risk Labor and Delivery experience.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and providing nursing care across ICU, Step Down, Med Surg, Day Stay, PACU and ER, supervising ancillary staff, and maintaining competency within each

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (AS) or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• One year ICU or Step-Down/Progressive Care, ER or High Risk L&D experience in last 5 years required.
• Current RN license in state of practice; BLS/ACLS/PALS; TNCC required or enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care in ICU, Step Down, Med Surg, Day Stay, PACU and ER.
• Maintains competencies required for each unit.
• Supervises and delegates care to ancillary personnel per scope of practice.
• Completes legible, timely documentation of care and patient responses.
• Collaborates with health care team and follows chain of command.
