ACLS certification is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork essential. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, monitoring of life-threatening conditions, managing ventilation and cardiac monitoring, and collaboration with providers to plan care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work under stress and handle complex cases.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care.
• Monitor critically ill or unstable patients and provide life-support when needed.
• Manage life-support systems like ventilation and cardiac monitoring.
• Participate in rapid response and emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
