Job summary

Incredible Health in Athens, TX is hiring an RN for Critical Care. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, monitoring of critically ill patients, and management of life-support systems. Collaboration with physicians to implement care plans and patient education are essential.

Requirements include ADN or higher in nursing and an active RN license; 1+ year ICU experience preferred and ACLS is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork are expected in a high-stress environment.

Qualifications

ADN or RN license (unencumbered) required or higher
1+ years in a critical care unit preferred
ACLS certification preferred
Ability to function effectively under stress
Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care
Monitor and provide care to critically ill and unstable patients
Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and heart monitoring
Participate in rapid responses and other emergency situations
Administer medications and treatments
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans
Educate patients and families about conditions and care plan
