Job summary

Wickliffe Country Place is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to care for residents needing ventilator and complex respiratory support in a fast-paced long-term care setting. You will collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements include an Ohio RN license and current BLS certification. Ventilator or critical care experience is preferred; LTC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• Ventilator, trach, or critical care experience is preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents requiring ventilator support, trach, and respiratory care.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team on care plans.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in resident status.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations; document in EMR.
