Job summary

Wickliffe Country Place in Wickliffe, OH is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to provide skilled respiratory care to residents in our skilled nursing facility.

You will develop treatment plans, administer inhalants, operate ventilators, monitor responses, and assist with breathing exercises, collaborating with physicians and care teams.

Requirements include NBRC-accredited program, CRT or RRT, Ohio license, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience (ventilator care preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBRC-accredited respiratory therapy program.
• CRT or RRT certification required.
• Valid Ohio license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or ventilator care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement respiratory therapy treatment plans.
• Administer inhalants, operate ventilators, and manage therapeutic gas systems.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed.
• Perform bronchopulmonary drainage and assist breathing exercises.
• Collaborate on discharge planning with physicians, nurses, and social workers.
