Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient Critical Care/Critical Care Step Down Float Pool at the MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. The PRN role supports a variety of complex medical units, providing critical care nursing across multiple shift patterns with emphasis on patient safety and quality care.

Required qualifications include Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year in inpatient CCU. Preferred BSN and Magnet-certified credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure and BLS certification.
• 1 year of inpatient critical care RN experience; PRN requires 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Float across Oncology, Telemetry, Post-Surgical, Orthopedic, Trauma Step Down, and General Medicine units.
• Deliver clinical care including IV placement, blood draws, wound care, and catheter management.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, providers, and rehab teams to coordinate patient care.
